Founder Membership Terms and Conditions

Definitions

1.  Interpretation

1.1  “Rally Yard”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to Rally Yard, the operator of the padel and tennis facility to which these terms relate.

1.2  “Founding Membership” means the one-off, one-year membership described in these terms, available exclusively to the first 100 purchasers.

1.3  “Member” or “you” refers to the individual who has purchased a Founding Membership.

1.4  “Membership Year” means the 12-month period commencing on the date your Founding Membership purchase is confirmed.

1.5  “Welcome Package” means the physical items despatched to the Member following purchase, as described in Clause 4.

1.6  “Court Credit” means the £100 credit applied to your Rally Yard account for use on court bookings, as described in Clause 5.

1.7  “Racket Prize Draw” means the random selection of one Member to receive a premium padel racket for every 10 Founding Memberships sold, as described in Clause 6.

Membership

2.  Founding Membership

2.1  The Founding Membership is a one-off, non-renewable membership valid for one Membership Year from the date of confirmed purchase.

2.2  A maximum of 100 Founding Memberships will be issued in total. Once all 100 have been sold, this tier will close permanently and will not be reopened.

2.3  Founding Memberships are personal to the Member and are non-transferable. They may not be sold, gifted, or assigned to another individual.

2.4  Founding Membership does not guarantee the Member priority access, reserved parking, or any facility beyond the specific benefits listed in these terms.

2.5  At the end of the Membership Year, membership will expire automatically. No renewal option exists for the Founding Membership tier. Members wishing to continue may purchase any standard membership available at that time at the prevailing rate.

Purchase and Payment

3.  Pricing and Payment

3.1  The price of a Founding Membership is £349 (three hundred and forty-nine pounds), payable in full at the time of purchase.

3.2  All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

3.3  Payment must be made by the methods specified on the Playtomic website and app at the time of purchase. Rally Yard does not store payment card details.

3.4  Your Founding Membership commences on the date your payment is confirmed. You will receive a confirmation email containing your founding member number (#1–100) within 48 hours of purchase.

3.5  Founding Memberships are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment confirmation secures your place; reservation without payment does not.

4.  Cancellation and Refunds

4.1  You have the right to cancel your Founding Membership within 14 days of the date of purchase, provided that you have not yet redeemed any membership benefits (including Court Credit, discounts, or attendance at the Founding Members Social Event).

4.2  To exercise your right to cancel, please contact us at contact@rallyyard.co.uk within the 14-day period. We will process a full refund within 14 days of receiving your cancellation request.

4.3  Once any membership benefit has been redeemed, the right to cancel and receive a full refund is forfeited. A partial refund may be considered at Rally Yard’s discretion in exceptional circumstances.

4.4  Rally Yard reserves the right to cancel a Founding Membership and issue a full refund if it reasonably believes the membership has been purchased fraudulently or in breach of these terms.

Welcome Package

5.  Welcome Package Contents and Delivery

5.1  Each Founding Member will receive a Welcome Package containing the following items:

(a)  One Rally Yard Founding Member t-shirt

(b)  One Rally Yard branded steel water bottle

(c)  One personally addressed founder letter

5.2  Welcome Packages will be despatched within 28 days of the date of confirmed purchase, or within 28 days of Rally Yard’s official opening date, whichever is later.

5.3  Packages will be delivered to the postal address provided at the time of purchase. Rally Yard is not responsible for non-delivery resulting from an incorrect address being provided by the Member.

5.4  If a Welcome Package item is unavailable due to circumstances outside Rally Yard’s control, we reserve the right to substitute it with an item of equivalent or greater value. Members will be informed of any substitution.

5.5  Welcome Package items are provided as part of the membership and have no separate cash value. Items cannot be exchanged or returned for credit.

5.6  Each Welcome Package is numbered to correspond with the Member’s founding member number. This number is for identification and recognition purposes only and confers no additional rights.

Court Credit

6.  Court Credit

6.1  £100 of Court Credit will be applied to the Member’s Rally Yard account within 7 days of the facility opening or within 7 days of purchase confirmation, whichever is later.

6.2  Court Credit may be used to pay for court bookings at Rally Yard at the standard published rate during off-peak hours. Off-peak hours are from 8am to 5pm on Monday through to Friday. It cannot be used against pro shop purchases, café or bar spend, coaching, or any other service.

6.3  Court Credit has no cash value and cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or refunded.

6.4  Court Credit will expire at the end of the Membership Year. Any unused Court Credit will be forfeited and will not be carried forward or refunded.

6.5  Court Credit is applied automatically at the time of booking where available. Members are responsible for ensuring sufficient credit is available before making a booking.

Racket Prize Draw

7.  Racket Prize Draw — Terms

7.1  For every 10 Founding Memberships sold, one Member will be randomly selected to receive a premium padel racket with a retail value of approximately £200 (“the Prize”). A total of 10 rackets will be awarded across all 100 memberships.

7.2  Draws will take place at the following milestones: upon the sale of the 10th, 20th, 30th, 40th, 50th, 60th, 70th, 80th, 90th, and 100th Founding Membership.

7.3  All Founding Members who have not yet won a racket are automatically entered into each draw. No additional action is required by the Member to participate.

7.4  Members who have already won a racket in a previous draw are excluded from all subsequent draws, ensuring that 10 different Members receive a racket.

7.5  The selection method will be a random draw conducted by Rally Yard. Results are final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of any draw.

7.6  The Prize racket brand and model will be selected by Rally Yard from Pallap, Stiga, or Raquex and may vary between winners. No cash alternative to the Prize is available.

7.7  Winners will be announced on Rally Yard’s social media channels and contacted directly via the email address provided at the time of purchase. Winners must respond to claim their Prize within 14 days. If no response is received within 14 days, Rally Yard reserves the right to redraw and select an alternative winner.

7.8  Prizes will be delivered to the winner’s registered address within 28 days of the winner being confirmed. Rally Yard is not responsible for non-delivery resulting from an incorrect address.

7.9  Rally Yard reserves the right to use the winner’s first name and membership number in promotional materials. Full names will not be used without the winner’s explicit written consent.

7.10  The Racket Prize Draw is a promotional incentive and does not constitute a lottery or regulated gambling activity under the Gambling Act 2005. All Founding Members are automatically eligible by virtue of their purchase; no additional payment or consideration is required to enter.

Membership Benefits

8.  Discounts and Privileges

8.1  Founding Members are entitled to the following discounts and privileges during the Membership Year:

(a)  Priority court booking: 48-hour advance access to court reservations ahead of non-members, subject to court availability.

(b)  Pro shop discount: 10% off all pro shop purchases, up to a maximum total discount of £10 per member per Membership Year (£100 spend cap).

(c)  Café discount: 10% off all café orders throughout the Membership Year.

(d)  Bar discount: 10% off all bar orders throughout the Membership Year.

8.2 Phased Availability

Some outlets and services described above, including the Pro Shop, Café, and Bar, will not be available from day one of launch. We're working hard to bring these online as quickly as possible and will keep Founding Members updated on timing.

8.3 Outlet Changes

Where an outlet or partnership does not proceed, whether due to demand, commercial terms, or supplier availability, we reserve the right to replace it with an alternative outlet or service of comparable value. Any discount described in this section will apply to the replacement outlet on the same terms.

8.4 Where No Alternative Is Available

If we are unable to launch an outlet or service, or to provide a suitable alternative, the related discount will no longer apply. In this case, we will notify affected members and, at our discretion, may offer a comparable benefit elsewhere in the membership package by way of alternative.

8.5  Discounts are applied at the point of purchase upon presentation of a valid membership card or confirmation of membership status as required by Rally Yard staff. Discounts cannot be applied retrospectively.

8.6  Discounts may not be combined with any other promotional offer, discount code, or special pricing unless explicitly stated by Rally Yard.

8.7  Rally Yard reserves the right to amend or withdraw discount entitlements with 30 days’ written notice to Members, provided that any such change does not materially reduce the overall value of the membership package.

9.  Founding Members Social Event

9.1  All Founding Members are invited to attend an exclusive Founding Members Social Event, to be held at Rally Yard prior to or shortly after the facility’s official opening date.

9.2  The date, time, and format of the Social Event will be confirmed by Rally Yard with a minimum of 14 days’ notice to all Founding Members.

9.3  Attendance at the Social Event is complimentary for the Founding Member. Guests may attend at a cost to be confirmed by Rally Yard.

9.4  In the event that the Social Event is postponed or cancelled due to circumstances outside Rally Yard’s reasonable control, Rally Yard will use reasonable endeavours to reschedule and will notify all affected Members as soon as practicable. Cancellation of the Social Event does not entitle the Member to a refund of membership fees.

9.5  Rally Yard reserves the right to set a reasonable capacity limit for the Social Event. In the unlikely event that not all Founding Members can be accommodated simultaneously, additional sessions will be arranged.

10.  Founders Wall

10.1  All 100 Founding Members will have their name displayed permanently on the Rally Yard Founders Wall, located within the Rally Yard facility.

10.2  Names will be displayed as provided by the Member at the time of purchase. Members wishing to use a preferred name or pseudonym should notify Rally Yard at the time of purchase or within 7 days of purchase confirmation.

10.3  Rally Yard will install the Founders Wall within 120 days of the facility opening. Members will be notified when the wall is in place.

10.4  In the unlikely event that a Member requests removal of their name from the Founders Wall, Rally Yard will accommodate this request within a reasonable timeframe, though permanent removal from the physical installation may not always be practicable.

General Terms

11.  Conduct and Facility Rules

11.1  All Members must comply with Rally Yard’s facility rules, codes of conduct, and any reasonable instructions from Rally Yard staff at all times.

11.2  Rally Yard reserves the right to suspend or terminate a Founding Membership without refund if a Member breaches the facility rules or code of conduct in a serious or repeated manner, following a written warning where appropriate.

12.  Limitation of Liability

12.1  Rally Yard’s liability to Members in connection with the Founding Membership is limited to the membership fee paid.

12.2  Rally Yard is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from membership, including loss of enjoyment or loss of opportunity.

13.  Data Protection

13.1  Rally Yard will process your personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available on the Rally Yard website.

13.2  Your data will be used to administer your membership, fulfil the Welcome Package and Court Credit, conduct the Racket Prize Draw, and communicate with you about your membership and the Rally Yard facility.

13.3  Rally Yard will not sell your personal data to third parties. With your consent, we may contact you about future promotions and events.

14.  Governing Law

14.1  These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14.2  If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
